Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty
At Necessities, we are committed to selling high-quality jewelry and lab-grown diamonds to our customers. We warrant that all jewelry purchased from our website will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery and that the optical properties of the lab-grown diamonds will never fade or cloud over time.
Our diamonds and jewelry are manufactured to the highest standards and use the highest quality materials. Each item is carefully inspected at our factory and distribution facility before shipment.
We offer a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty to all our customers, regardless of the price and type of item. The Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty is effective from the date of purchase, only for Necessities purchases, and it is non-transferable.
Warranty Exclusions
While we stand behind our product, the following are excluded from the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty:
- General wear and tear, scratching, trauma, loss of center stones, product loss, theft, or improper cleaning and storage.
- Fading or discoloration of metals over time due to inadequate care (Examples: wearing it in a hot tub or swimming pool, spraying perfume or other chemicals directly on the jewelry, etc.)
- Normal wear on precious metals, especially prongs, which may thin over time and increase the risk of stones falling out.
- Loss of stones caused by trauma or damage.
- Any third-party repairs or services, including ring sizing or other repairs by a company other than Necessities, will void the warranty.
If you experience an issue with your purchase due to manufacturing, please email Customer Service, and we will provide a pre-paid shipping label to send your jewelry to us. Once received, we will inspect it to determine if the damage is covered by our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. If covered, we will complete the work or, at our discretion, replace the item without charge and return it to you. If not covered, we will provide a price quote for repair. Upon approval, we will collect payment and complete the repair, shipping the item back via standard ground shipping.
Insurance Recommendation: We recommend insuring your jewelry for loss, theft, catastrophic damage, or center stone damage. Examples of center stone damage include chipping, cracking, or breaking. While durable, diamonds are not indestructible, and normal wear, especially on rings, can cause damage.

Repairs
Due to regular wear, your jewelry may need repair and maintenance. Our U.S. facility provides these services, and we strive to keep repair costs low while preserving the piece's integrity. Third-party jeweler repairs will void the warranty. Common repairs include replacing side stones, tightening prongs, re-polishing, rhodium re-plating, or thorough cleaning. Just pay to ship the item to us, and we’ll handle the return shipping!
Note: For international orders, ring resizing services are unavailable due to cross-border taxes. Please contact Customer Service for questions on Necessities' return policy.
Free Ring Resizing
If your ring doesn’t quite fit, we’ll resize it one time for FREE within 30 days after purchase (U.S. Orders). Simply ship it to us, and we’ll ship it back at no charge. If the ring cannot be resized to the requested size, we will offer options for a new size order or return the ring as is.
Additionally, we offer one FREE resizing per year for a lifetime (U.S. Orders). You pay for shipping to us, and we’ll cover the return. Please note that resizing is possible as long as it maintains the ring’s integrity. Over time, resizing limits may be reached, at which point a new setting or repairs may be recommended.

Due to import duties and taxes, resizing is not available for international orders. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Extend Product Protection
Your jewelry is a celebration of you—make sure it’s protected. Extend Product Protection covers defects and accidental breakage not included in the manufacturer’s warranty, such as chipped or cracked stones, bent or broken clasps, and even loss of a center or side diamond or gemstone. If your jewelry breaks, Extend will repair it without a deductible; if repair isn’t possible, they’ll replace it.
Extend Product Protection also includes refinishing, repolishing, rhodium plating, and ring resizing beyond our initial resizing policy (beginning 60 days post-purchase).
